The vibroacoustic Bed and Platform allow the body to benefit from sound at a physical, emotional and mental level, stimulating harmonization of metabolic, nervous and circulatory processes. Derived from the knowledge and clinical experiences of vibroacoustic therapy, the system differs profoundly in the way sound is recorded, diffused and perceived. Observations on humans have highlighted the variety of physiological responses obtained with appropriate sound stimuli: Electroencephalography; variation of alpha wave rhythm, reduction of nerve impulses afferent to the cortex, essentially a drop in the level of vigilance that translates into relaxation and distension. Plethysmography; rebalancing of the volume enclosed by the thoraco-abdominal wall, i.e. an evident variation in lung volume during breathing in favor of the abdominal or diaphragmatic part.
